Cellulose Material Solutions, LLC is Hiring a Quality Control Technician Near Jenison, MI

Cellulose Material Solutions, LLC (CMS) a fast growing, local manufacturing company, producing innovative products from recycled fibers for multiple industries, is looking to fill a Quality Control Technician position.

Summary Tests and inspects products at various stages of manufacturing process. Records and evaluates data to maintain quality standards by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Audit manufacturing processes at regular intervals to ensure product quality.

Conduct random sample checks at various stages in the manufacturing process.

Review in process manufacturing checks for compliance.

Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.

Provides Quality support to manufacturing teams.

Authorized to approve or disposition material in accordance with Quality SOP.

Responsible for organizing and monitoring progress of sort/containment procedures.

Conducts R&D lab testing (cushion curve, thermal performance etc).

Verify accuracy of outgoing customer samples.

Assists in reviewing and updating Quality procedures and work instructions.

Train Production Technicians in Quality related job functions.

Analyze manufacturing data for trends.

Assists line operator with coordinating breaks.

Additional duties as requested by Management.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
